Best Chocolate Chip Banana Bread!

Yummy! I'm convinced you, and everyone you know will LOVE this bread!

This chocolate chip banana bread has the perfect amount of sweetness. And it counts as being healthy because of the bananas, right? I made this a couple weeks ago and it was so moist and delicious. It lasted about two days in my house. My 1 year old LOVED it also.

So let's get to it!!
This recipe will make 1 loaf (using a regular size loaf pan)


INGREDIENTS: 

  • 2 bananas- very over ripe (1 cup mashed, you may need 3 depending on the size)
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt



INSTRUCTIONS:

         Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
     Prepare loaf pan by spraying with cooking spray


  1. In a bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt together.
  2. Mix in the oil, mashed bananas, and eggs.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips, just until they are combined to make sure you are not over mixing it.  
  4. Pour the mixture into loaf pan, and bake for 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center of the bread.
